Young Women’s Rights Activists: Conversations in Canada 2013

The next generation of women’s rights activists are here

Around the world we have witnessed the power of young women’s leadership in driving social change for women. This September, join MATCH International and Nobel Women’s Initiative for our speakers series on the importance of young women’s leadership, activism and innovation in the pursuit of global equality.

Su Thet San, an activist for girls’ education in Myanmar, Gabriela Rivera, a women’s rights lawyer from Guatemala, and Josephine Gekpelee, a radio announcer, reporter and producer from Liberia, will be joined by young Canadian activists to discuss the unique opportunities and challenges they face as young women, leaders and global change-makers. We invite you to come out to an event near you and join the discussion. For more information, please contact info@matchinternational.org.
