Throughout the world, and particularly in the South there are few publishing channels open to feminist discourse, novelists, poets and academics. MATCH believes that it is critical to support and promote women's voices and to provide a forum for women from Africa, Asia, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America to share their thoughts, knowledge, strategies and life experiences. MATCH has therefore created an initiative called "Words of Women" which publishes women's writings and raises awareness about development issues from their perspective.
