2007 MATCH International Centre Bursaries in Honour of the late Rosemary Brown
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2007 MATCH International Bursaries in honour of the late Rosemary Brown at Simon Fraser University, Mignon Alphonso and Beth Ann Pentney.
Both ladies are dedicated Women's Studies students. Ms. Alphonso is pursuing her Masters and Ms Pentney her PhD.
These bursaries were established in 2001 in honour of Rosemary Brown who was a long time supporter, special ambassador and at that time President of MATCH as well as the 1987 recipient of the Ruth Wynn Woodward Professor of Women' Studies at Simon Fraser University.
Although the bursaries are not for a large amount MATCH is happy to help SFU, in this small way, attract and retain students with the most potential to the women's studies program.
